No previous knowledge of BSG is necessary to read the series, but before reading this installment you should be familiar with what's been going on in this 'verse - previous installments can be found here.

Author's Notes: The next entry in my Downloaded series, following Downloaded and Program Reboot. This is a crossover with BSG 2003, but you don't need any prior knowledge of that series to follow this one. This is the part where we actually start to get plot, though, so if you haven't read the previous entries you should do so now. Because now there is a Plan.

( Bones isn't human; he's a machine that's been designed to mimic the human form perfectly. He might look human, feel human, and feel human emotions, but he's also undeniably Cylon. )

Summary: Continuation of the BSG/STXI crossover that started with Downloaded and continued in Program Reboot. The last story was in Jim's POV, but I felt that there were some gaps on Bones' side that needed to be filled in.

You don't need to be familiar with BSG to read this series, but reading the previous two stories would be helpful.

Disclaimer: I own neither Trek nor BSG. If I did, I wouldn't be a struggling grad student.

Notes: So this is the sequel to Downloaded. I was honestly not going to write any more in this particular 'verse, but Jim and Bones wanted to meet, and I wanted to know what happens. This is the result. You should probably read Downloaded before this, but the only relevant things you need to know are that this is a crossover with Battlestar Galactica 2003 (although you don't need to be familiar with that series), and that Bones is a Cylon model.

This is in Jim's POV, and as such some of what's going on internally with Bones just didn't fit. I hope that what I tried to convey is still clear.

Concrit is very much appreciated. If anyone familiar with BSG canon has any interest in potentially beta-ing anything else that comes out of these characters, let me know.
